October 2025 Updates🎃

What I've Been Up To:

Hello, hello, book besties!

There's a chill in the air... It's finally spooky season! This is my favorite time of year--when the weather starts cooling down and I can pull out cozy sweaters and blankets, drink my hot tea without sweating, watch nostalgic Halloween movies, admire the gorgeous New England fall foliage, and pull out my witch hat and spiderweb drop earrings. Halloween is my favorite holiday (the vibes are immaculate) and I love all things spooky, so I'm excited to soak up October!

As I mentioned in my last newsletter, I spent last month revising The Shadows That Whisper based on alpha/ beta reader feedback. Currently, the manuscript is with my editor for developmental edits, and I'll start working on my revisions come November when I get them back.

With formal edits officially underway, it's finally time to get into the exciting things. You know what that means--a shiny new release date announcement, cover reveals, and more! 

What's Coming Next?

After developmental edits, copy/line edits are next on the docket. These next couple months are going to be a lot of back and forth between me and my editor as we work to get Whisper polished and ready for publication.

But before long, The Shadows That Whisper will be coming to an online retailer near you in Spring 2026! Read on for an exciting announcement 😉
