October 2026 Updates 🦇

What I've Been Up To:

Hello, hello, book besties, and happy spooky season!

It's been over a month of A Tarnished Court of Copper! It's so surreal to me to see my Of Metals and Curses stack grow as the series progresses, and I can't believe my debut series under this pen name is over halfway complete.

Edits for Among Shadows #2 are almost there. I finished the copy/line round and sent the manuscript off to my editor for the professional proofread. Somehow, this book has even more angst and yearning than the first (and she's a bit thicker, too), but you won't find any complaints about that here 😉

What's Coming Next?

Despite being in the thick of editing Among Shadows #2, I'm finding a few minutes here and there to start drafting something new. You might be asking, "What new book, Renna? Tell us!" And I would be happy to share that I'm approaching the 10k-word mark in Of Metals and Curses, book 4! (This makes my earlier comment about watching my stack grow even more bittersweet as I begin writing the penultimate book in the series).

Given that there are so many plot points to continue developing while shifting gears to a new Noble House we haven't had much exposure to, this book is taking me longer to get into a rhythm (it could also be that I've been busy editing and am a little burnt out from back-to-back releases the past few months 😅)

With OMaC #4 taking a little longer, I've also been stealing away to write words here and there for another story to let my creativity flow and have some fun with an idea that won't leave me alone. This side project is really meant to be for fun, and it may take a while to turn into a book, but when it does, you all will be the first to hear about it!

Among Shadows #2 Title Reveal & Teaser:

I'm so excited to announce that the title of the second book in the Among Shadows series is....

*drumroll*

THE DARKNESS THAT SINGS

A cover reveal and pre-order announcement is coming very soon. In the meantime, enjoy this yearny Theo quote 🤭

That's all I have for now!

Until next time,
