What I've Been Up To:

Hello, hello, book besties!

The Maiden and the Steel Guardian is just about ready for publication! The eBook, paperback, and hardcover editions are formatted and uploaded to Amazon and Barnes & Noble's website, and my paperback proof has arrived.

Currently, Maiden is in the hands of ARC readers (not me being scared out of my mind and bouncing with excitement at the same time), and all that’s left is a final social media and marketing push leading up to release.

Compared to A Shattered Kingdom of Steel's release, Maiden's will be more low-key, but no less exciting! I love this story and these characters with all my heart, and I hope you do, too!

What's Coming Next?

As I mentioned in last month's newsletter, the rest of 2025 will be very busy for me in my personal life, so I don't have anything else planned to release this year.

However, that's not to say I won't be writing -- for the second half of the year, I'm setting aside some time to complete two drafts, one of which is OMaC book 3 (Myrdin and Therane's book), along with my secret project that I've been teasing on my socials. Both drafts are currently sitting around the 18-20k word mark, which for me, means I'm almost about a quarter of the way through for each. The secret project is due to the editor in October, so I'll likely work on finishing that draft first.

I anticipate 2026 being an exciting year for me with lots planned, including (hopefully) two book releases, and another release I can't wait to announce. As always, you all will be the first to know!

The Maiden and the Steel Guardian Releases THIS month!!

I can't believe it's already release month for The Maiden and the Steel Guardian! Can you believe it?? I'm so excited for you all to get your hands on this book, and for you to fall in love with Orim and Arella.

Though the story is primarily a love story, you'll get a glimpse of major things happening in Inatia, and it might not be for the better...
